Gustavo Lïns, a fetishist fascinated by Japanese kimonos and the multiple topstitching that adorns them, creates around him, among his obsessions, a universe marked by the imprint of brutalist spaces where leather, silk, cotton, wool, cashmere, silver chains, and rubber ribbons merge and intertwine. Rendered in a very strict color palette—blacks of all kinds, optical white, scarlet red, midnight blue, and khaki green—the forms evoke fluid movements, provoke palpitations, and approach that dangerous zone we call DESIRE... This box of desires and fantasies is for all those who dare to lift its lid to explore the shades buried within. Enriched by his heritage gained during his time in Haute Couture, Gustavo has developed a skill and expertise that allow him to break free from the rules and codes of this tradition. The architecture of his forms grants flexibility and freedom, enabling a spatial fluidity in the movement of bodies. This animality, imbued with an assumed sensuality and eroticism, is balanced by the delicacy in the treatment of materials, forms, and connections, which makes his vision transparent.
